There are four major steps to completing your project - material selection, templating, fabrication, and installation.
Material Selection - This step is considered by some as the most difficult! Once you have made the decision to invest in granite, marble, quartz, soapstone, travertine, or recycled glass you have to choose what color to use. We have over 50 beautiful granites in our yard, many of which are exotic stones imported directly from Italy and won't be found anywhere else in the area. Our showroom features complete color samples from virtually every quartz manufacturer. We also showcase several different recycled glass products, giving you a plethora of choices! If you don't find what you want at our facility, we are happy to guide you through the process of selecting your material from one of the many slab merchants in the area.
Templating - We will make a pattern or outline of the area that will be receiving the new surface. If you have chosen natural stone, it is important that you have your slabs selected prior to the templating step. The slab dimensions are needed by our template maker as it helps him determine where seams may be needed. You will also need to have your sinks available for us at the time of template. Faucets are helpful as well to ensure that any unusual setback requirements are addressed prior to installation. Critical considerations such as countertop overhang and support will be addressed as well.
Fabrication - We make your project on-site at our Redmond location. We invite you to participate in placing the template on your material if your stone has "movement" (inconsistent patterning). Many of our customers appreciate being able to take part in this important step in the fabrication process. The templates are placed on the material; our sawyer cuts the material to size and our machines and fabricators finish according to the details for your project.
Installation - Our professional installation team delivers your project, dry fits the pieces to ensure the best possible, makes any fine adjustments, then adheres the surfaces in place. Sinks, if any, are attached to the countertops, and any necessary holes are drilled. We clean the countertops, seal them if necessary, clean up the work site, and leave you to admire your beautiful new stone!
We guarantee our workmanship for two full years. Some man-made materials carry with them a lifetime warranty as well.
